We are pleased to announce that Xfrog is under consideration by the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts® and Sciences for a Scientific Technical (Sci-Tech) Award in the category “Digital Vegetation: Modeling, Animation and Rendering”.

Five companies are nominated and we are honored to be among such industry giants as WETA, Dreamworks, and Disney.

We wish to thank all the customers we have had over the past fourteen years for their amazing work in feature films, special notes to: Time Machine (the first use of digital vegetation in a feature film), Renegade/Blueberry, The Polar Express (Imax, 3D), The Incredibles, Argo (Academy Award) and The Odd Life of Timothy Green (IMAX, 3D), as well as all the other feature films uses which cumulatively have helped Xfrog to reach this pinnacle of industry recognition.

Winners will be announced in the next few weeks.

  1. Congrats Stewart, you completely deserve this !!!! It was a busy ol’ time back in ‘Time Machine’ days, along with the very young ‘Terrorgen’ ;).. those were fabulous pioneering days ! Look where you are now.. FANTASTIC !!!
