Notes:
Like all biennial plants, Cauliflower too takes two years to complete it's life cycle. In the first year it grows the vegetative structures(leaves, stems and roots), then it enters a period of dormancy during the winter. In the Spring of the second year, the stem elongates significantly, then the plant produces flowers, fruits and seed, and finally dies. Ancient Egyptians and Greeks believed that the Cauliflower was a remedy against drunkenness: they said that after having eaten raw Cauliflower, it is possible to drink wine without any limit and remain sober.
