Notes:
The Fig Tree is a rustic species that grows even on arid soils and rocks, tolerating a wide range of temperatures. Fruits are very high in sugar (20%when fresh, 50% dried). One fruit is born from several merged flowers. Many myths are centered on the Fig Tree, considered the Tree of Knowledge, and a symbol of Fertility as well.
